Default question regarding plenum gasket

well let me start off by saying that I'm not all that familiar with inner engine components so don't laugh at me haha, i'm more familiar with other things such as brakes, suspension, steering, and ignition. but the reason for this is that I was looking through my trucks console between the seats and found the list that the previous owner wrote of everything he replaced and I didn't notice before but it says throttle body gasket, is this another name or context for plenum gasket? I also know that the intake and the throttle body are right there with each other. well Im hoping it is, so I don't have to worry about the plenum anymore

plenum gasket does not = throttle body gasket unfortunately. another name for the plenum gasket would be the intake manifold gasket...although the correct technical name for it is the plenum gasket. start saving for that hughes kit my friend

the previous owner was likely referring to the gasket directly underneath the throttle body that sits between it and the intake manifold or the large rubber o-ring that sits on top of the throttle body underneath the air box

No symptoms yet, but i'm sure your time will come, as will mine....I'm just hoping my factory gasket holds out long enough til i can get an m1 or airgap manifold and not have to mess with the aluminum plate and all that.

+1 on the airgap man, i had mine on my ram and loved it, the ram burnt to the ground in a big fireball, and the airgap made it through the fire without warpin. now its on my ramcharger.
