Default Fuel pump

I asked the same question before I changed mine out, Denso and Delphi were the ones I was told were best. I went with Denso off ebay, it was also USA made.

I would lean to Denso considering Denso is basically one of the "Ram-approved" brands for these trucks.

As you know I have zero luck with any brand so no help there. Too bad this happened before you got those fuel rails or I would suggest a full return type system, external pump hi psi, a regulator, return line, and some flavor of pick-up tube. I think the pickup tube is as ezey as one for a diesel truck, might ask WR or Jiga about it.

Ok so while on rock auto I came up with these pumps..

Ultrapower up71380m 89.79

Autobest f3149a 104.79

Precise 402p7138m 114.79

Retech afs0499s 123.89

Spectra sp7138m 139.79

Delphi fg0227 162.79

Carter p74801m 184.79

Denso 9533027 186.70

Im leaning towards the ultrapower pump because of price. Trying to save as much as possible as I have other bills to pay with my next paycheck too.

Any ideas on which to go with? Removing the bed was easy so I wont mind doing it again if the pump fails.

All the pumps carry. 12mo 12,000 mile warranty so I should be ok.

Delphi and Denso are the better units from what I've seen commented on here.

I have 15yrs on my fuel pump, and whilst it may be up for replacement soon, I'd be pissed if I had to replace it once a year.
Even at the low price point, think about it costing you $7.50 a month, every month... can you afford that?

Yeah I can afford 7.50 a month. Just have some other bills coming up. Reg and inspection on the wifes jeep. It needs a few things also. So im just gonna go cheap for now and whwn I have the extra cash buy a denso or Delphi and keep it as a backup.

Hi. How has your Ultra Power fuel pump worked out? I am needing to replace mine on a 2000 Grand Caravan & that low price attracted me too.

Just wondering how its held up. Thanks.
