No it wasnt broken just the bigger or upper o-ring, but i was thinking could the pressure be too high from the valvebody pressure regulator or something. But it only does it shifting into 3rd or 3rd to 4th. The o-rings look like 1/4 of it has been pinched off perfectly sharp cuts at the edges and everything.

Ok today I figured the accumulator problem it was not knocked all the way in the bore so that's fixed. Now I still have no shift from 2nd-3rd which I can feel better and slipping reverse when warm. I pulled the valve body and took the shift kit out and stock stuff back in to double check its not that. I did replace the gov solonoid with a borg warner one before I rebuilt it the only problem was second slipping so should I try my old one or the pressure sensor or both.

Did you download the service manual here on DF? Has excellent troubleshooting guide on tranny.

When you installed the Sonax kit, did you open up the hole on the divider plate?

And work is so busy (doing a conference the rest of the week) that I am not on here every day, and when I am it is usually not for very long. PM sends an e-mail that I can get on phone wherever.

Servo should not have to be "knocked" in. It should be snug, but push in easily. O-Rings need tranny lube when fitted to keep from damaging.

I download a good dianostic pdf but I don't remember from where but its very specific about info. I did drill a hole bigger and notch the tranny exhaust slot for the shift kit. And the govenor did pop in a bit hard but I did lube it and I pulled it out to make sure I didn't hurt the o-rings. I just don't understand it had no problems but the sexond gear slip when I rebuilt it and put the shift kit in. I have gone through almost everything but the electronics besides the new governor.
