hub bolt & nut specs
Anyone know the specs for my knuckle to hub bolts and my axle nut. Just curious cause im about to change my hub and it didnt come with new bolts or a nut, it would be nice if I could grab them from fastenalls(mispelled) before i started the job as oppesed to taking them off and borrowing a car to take them in to get a match. just trying to save some time!! Thanks
I dont know the specs, but I do know you aint getting them from Fastenal. Dealer or junk yard only bud. The hub nut you might be able to get from an auto parts store. The one thing I do know , is the head on the 3 hub bolts is 14mm x 12 pt impact socket only. As they need to be torqued to like 210 ft pounds.

I re-used my old hub bolts - glass bead blasted them to knock the rust off, then painted the heads with a clear coat and re-installed them along with using some anti-sieze, in case I have to remove them every again.
One of my big center axle nuts was damaged from where it may have been removed previously by a person using a chisel. You can get those new from 4x4 parts places on the Web. I suspect that you can get the hub bolts from the dealer, however, the price will likely make you go into cardiac arrest!

You would be correct, sorry, I was going off the top of my head. 210 is for the pinion nut.
