2001 bull guard?

2001 bull guard?
Hey guys I have a bull guard i would like to put on a friends 2001 dodge ram 2500...... only problem is it doesnt fit, I know it came off of a dodge but im not sure what year i want to say an 02. Is there anyway i can make this fit by getting adapters or something like that?

Can't really tell much by the pics.
The '02 1500s had the early 3rd Gen Body style so making it fit and look right could be a challenge.
Might just need to mock up some custom mount brackets....
