Default dodge nv4500 question

does any one know how to replace the input and output shafts on a dodge nv4500 5 speed and how do you tell what gear ratio it is ? thank you

Not sure it will give ratios, but download the 01 service manual from the FAQ/DIY section. I'm sure it must have the rebuilding procedure in it.

The Transmission identification number is located on a tag secured by two bolts to the power take-off-cover. My numbers are 2108225 DF 10 20 95 4500 D You will find the difference in gear ratios is in your axles and transfer case (If I am not mistaking?). I am new here but, not new to wrenching and building rigs.
