Here is my mod list. I am over the 10:1 for comp, and over .520 for cam lift not your average DD motor by any means. Crankshaft and rods are not in the list, but they are not stock either.
Mopar performance pcm Mopar M1 mpi intake. Mopar performance adjustable 1.7 roller rockers. Mopar performance valve train, keepers, springs, retainers. Mopar performance double roller timing chain set Mopar timing chain tensioner Mopar Performance valve covers. Custom ground camshaft. KB pistons. Cific heads. Accel 24lbs injectors AFE cai. Gibson headers. Stainless dual exhaust, no cat, side dump. Stainless Magnaflow muffler Air conditioning removed MSD 8.5 Super conductor wire leads MSD ign coil I am no longer recommending cams to people sorry. You want sound and you want tq hard to get both from the same cam. For sound and upper rpm power you will be over the .480 lift range, for lower band tq stay in the .460 range. I am sure others will disagree with me but hey thats what forums are all about. |

I have tried to make some sound recordings but it just sounds bad, the phone can't handle it well. If I lived in a city I think I would be getting tickets left right and center for sound levels.
Send me a pm and tell me what you plan to spend and stuff like that. I will review it for you and make some recommendations. |

if you want a cam, and the 1.7's... comp cams, 20-745-9 is the cam to go with. thats the cam i have, and i run the 1.7's as well. you will need to replace you springs, and whatnot.

Valve springs
Keepers Retainers Will be needed for anything over say.470 lift on the cam. Go to hard a valve spring and you will also need new one piece valves. Here are some Mopar performance part numbers for you to look over Magnum Valve Springs P/N P5249464 Good for up to .525 lift Magnum Valve Retainer P/N P4452032 Valve Keepers P4529218 Valve seals P5249661 Magnum roller lifters P5249862 |
