Default 98 Ram Suspension question.

Now its time for some shocks in my truck, and it has blocks in the leafs and with the coils up front. But the stock shocks. Should I be looking at shocks meant for a truck with a lift, or am I misunderstanding something.

Stock height rear with a front level kit.

On the front I'm not sure, looks like it may be 2"-2 1/2", stock shocks may work. I have a 2" level and run stock length shocks with no issues.

Rear, stock length.

Thanks. Another couple of questions. Has anyone tried the fox 2.0 performance IFPs? And how much of a pita is it to do the fronts, never done em before.

front shocks are pretty easy. one large bolt at the bottom with a self holding flag nut. remove the 3 little nuts on top of the shock tower. jack up the body to extend the shock so you don't have to compress it. torque lower bolt to about 105 pounds or else it will rattle under your feet.

for access to the rear, drop the spare tire.
