Default #4 cylinder misfire

I have had multiple check engine lights come on and had the wires changed twice in the last year. Each code comes up as cylinder #4 misfire. What else should I be checking. I had the transmission replaced 6 months ago. This truck has done me well up until now and Pepboys does not know what they are doing. I even paid 250 for them to reroute my wires and space them apart.

welcome to DF!

you could have a leaky plenum gasket... have someone pull the plug and look at it... if it's oil fouled, then have them look down the throttle body for any signs of oil pooling on the bottom of the intake manifold. this is a common failure on the older magnum motors (you didnt specify your year...) another thing is plug gap. a gap that is too wide will also cause misfiring and pinging.
