So i decided to clean up my transfer case before putting it back on the truck. while doing that i noticed the hole in the red circle. What goes or is missing there? If i am missing something, where do i get one ASAP?

 

Need a better picture first.

Used something like Photobucket to host the picture and then post it.
Take pictures from the front & rear of your t-case. And then one from the top like you already did.

OOPS....................Ok your on Photobucket but you need a larger picture. More pixels and MB size so there will be better detail.

Have you tried asking in the Durango area?

 

+1....... on all counts! Post the question in the Durango forum, the TC is not the same as a Ram.

 

IIRC, he's tried posting things over there, which is why he came here to begin with. lol

 

IIRC your right. So can you tell him what he needs? Or do you own a Ram with a 231 transfer case? LOL

 

I was just pointing out the fact that he's better off over here as the rest of the forum is dead....

 

I have posted over there but, i have always got better answers to 4x4 questions over here as most of the population of Durango owners are soccer moms that don't even know they have 4x4...


Just for the record for everyone the Durango came standard with the 231 and came as a option with the 242 in 98-00

 

i have no idea what it is on that tcase, but could it be like a pressure relief hole?
