Default Power Lock

Hey guys I was just wondering of anyone could help me with my power lock on my driverside door. It no longer responds to the remote or the lock switch in the truck. Passenger still works fine and the lock switch on both sides still works. So any help would be great.

gonna have to start tracing the wires. gonna have to take the door panel off and trace them, look for a broken wire. it might of just came off right at the switch.

Since the passenger side power lock works with both switches and the remote, it could be one of two things.
1) The power lock motor is inoperative. It can be tested using 12v jumpers, or;
2) an open or short in the wiring to the power lock motor.

The test procedure in the manual for my '01 says to unplug the wire harness connector at the inoperative motor. Apply 12v to the motor terminals to check operation in one direction. Reverse polarity to check operation in opposite direction. If it does not work replace motor. If it does check wiring like ryan0714 says above.
