i wanna put on a bull bar but all the ones i see say doesnt fit sport. im not sure the package my truck is. is there any tell-tale signs?

 

What year is your truck?

 

If it has painted front and rear bumpers, as well as a painted grill, and also painted tailight surrounds, it's a Sport. 98-02 for 25/3500, I believe 96-01 for 1500.

 

I was asking what year his was so I could dispel any problems.....you messed it up.



If you have a 95-98 Sport, you have no worries.
99+ Sport, it won't fit without cutting.

 

It's a 2000 1500, that help?

If not, that's weird as hell.


Like I said in my other post, if it's body color, it's a Sport, and 99+ Sports won't fit most brush guards or bull bars without cutting to the front bumper cover.

Something I am curious about. I have what I believe is a 1998 sport. It had the decal for one, painted front and rear bumpers, painted grill, and painted taillight surround.

However, I had read that Sport headlights had a dual beam instead of a single beam and mine are singles. Also, what year of the Sports did the foglights change from center orientation to outside orientation?
