Thanks, I will drop them separately.

I'm installing Sonnax kit. I wasn't very careful removing this sleeve but I think it was flush without the gap to the outside. I think this kickdown sleeve is installed with the smaller diameter hole toward the outside. Can anyone verify this?

Small hole to outside is flush to outside of valve body case, think it goes on this way

Small hole to outside allows to slide all the way down

Larger diameter hole side out

Larger hole out causes sleeve to stop halfway

Look through the FAQ/DIY section, IIRC Aim4squirels has a DIY in there.

Yah, looked at his DIY and he don't go into detail, I decided it don't make much sense to have the hollow side of the sleeve facing out.

Got the valve body modified and put back together. Waiting for the Superior TCC boost clip and Borg Warner Solenoids to arrive to finish the valve body.

Picked up the PNH converter today. Waiting for my trans floor jack adapter to arrive to pull the transmission.

I have the trans installed with the new TC, problem tho I'm installing the valve body to the trans and I don't remember there being 2 springs for the accumulator piston, large spring on the bottom I have, but a smaller skinny spring on top of the piston I dont. I'm confused because the FSM shows 2 springs.

Can anyone tell me if there are 1 or 2 accumulator piston springs?
Ebay and PATC don't show one available.

Some trans. have just one spring, go with what you've got and hope for the best. Unless you lost a spring, your memory is correct, and you have a one spring trans. At worst , you'd just have to remove the pan and drop the VB again.

Yah, not too deep to get in there again.

I called Nathan at PATC and he said some have it and some don't, the upper spring is not crucial, only the lower one is. I'm certain mine never had it after getting his and your opinion. Thanks

Hey Beeker how's the trans now that you did all this work? Do you like the low stall tc? Does it seem to get up and run now with the low stall over factory stall?

I'll let you know when I drive it. Been taking my time, working a lot, should have it done in a day or 2. I still need to put the new pan on and fill it up.
