Default Dana 60 axel nut???

I have a Dana 60 on the front of my 96 Ram 2500, I changed the right hand u-joint yesterday. My question, what is the axel nut torqued to? My Haynes says to go to 50ft lbs then back the nut off 90 degrees. Is this right? Everything else about the u-joint change has been wrong.
Thanks for any help.

No...the haynes is way wrong. IIRC, it's something like 250 or 300 ft lbs. I didn't have a wrench (at the time) when I did mine, so I just cranked up the impact wrench and impacted it on real good. Then I put a socket, breaker bar, and pipe on it and gave it a little "how's your uncle"...to make sure it was good and tight. That was back in June, and I haven't had any problems yet.
