Default performance ecu

Does mopar make a performance ecu for the 2002 5.9 dodge 1500 4x4 or can you use one from a diffrent year.

its not a conversion. it came with disc's at all four corners. I have the new body style that came out in 2002.

The year does matter. It also matters wether or not it's a federal or California vehicle. I don't see one listed for anything newer than a 2000. Maybe the guys in the 3rd gen forum would know more.

Rams from 2000 (or 2001?) and newer had four wheel disc brakes. You can convert over to a stock axle from those years fairly easily. Myself, I'd rather stick with the drums.
