Default Hi, I'm new to this and I have a problem with my 99 Dodge

99 Dodge starts up and immediately shuts off.

I have a 99 Dodge Ram Sport 1500 5.9L. Starts and immediately shuts off, then it won't start up again. I changed throttle body, IAC sensor, I changed the intake and put on a Holley intake. I also changed coil, distributor cap, router, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel injectors and fuel pump. I gave it an oil change because gas was getting into the oil. What can be the problem why it starts up and shuts off? And doesn't start again, like it's getting flooded?

just thinking out loud of what will cause one to not run, that you haven't already swapped out.

cam position sensor (aka secondary pickup coil)
crank position sensor
pcm
ASD relay
fuel pump relay
wiring.
not much else....

Thanks I'll give those a try tomorrow. And I just noticed my headlights stay on, doesn't matter if I turn it off (or if I put high beam low beam doesn't change) the only way I could shut it off now is to unhook my batterie. Jkeaton- thanks

You most likely have daytime running lights which is why your lights are on.

As for not staying running it sounds like the ASD relay. It is in the power distribution box under the hood. Locate it and swap it with the dual tank relay. See if it will start and run now.

Ok...we see some significant things have been changed. These things will impact MPI system. The impression is all the things changed are non-stock. Most definitely a Holley intake, to my recollection is for carb systems. I have not seen where ppl make these things work on the Magnum MPI system. Also what is the throttle body?

Let's start there with specifics.

If you did indeed get gas in the oil....then how is it getting there? If my perception is right about the intake, then the gas is coming through the inappropriate intake and/or getting past the cylinders....?

This reads like a whole lot of "custom".
