I've got a True-Trac in the rear of my 96 1500 and I love it. I'll be putting one in the front within the next few months (and changing the gears to 4.10 to go with some new 33" tires).
About the best limited slip out there. If you don't need an actual locker and still want better than average traction aiding device that will not wear out then a True-Trac is the shizzle!!
But remember getdown getdown wants CHEAP so something like a True-Trac is out of the question. Who cares that depending on how many miles he drives plus how close to the same size his tires aren't will dictate how fast the clutches wear out in that Trash-Loc.
My truck is not a daily driver ! It does have the same size tires ! I am gonna see waht kinda of deal i can get at my new job at the 4x4 and offroad shop ?

If it isn't your daily driver then throw a Aussie locker or Spartan locker in it and call it good. What do you use the truck for if it isn't your dd? Why do you think you want/need limited slip diffs for?
If you're going to use the truck for running trails why are you wanting to only install factory junk limited slips? You would be better off running some lunch box lockers imho.
Don't believe everything people tell you about auto lockers. I've been running some type of locker in my daily drivers for years with no issues.
