Default Anyone able to tell me what this is?

Got this as a "present" that I later payed for. I love the truck, 2001 offroad edition with a 5.9 and 33 inch all terrains. I was not told what lift or anything it has, could anyone tell me? I'm looking to fit 35's but I don't know if I can.
Thanks, Finn

Quick search on google got me this off Wikipedia.
An Offroad Edition was offered as a package with a 2 inch lift accomplished with stiffer front springs and rear lift blocks, unique 17x8 rims, 275/70/17 all terrain tires, 4.10 gears, trussed Dana 44 in the front, limited slip differential, and skid plates. Offroad Edition models are also distinguishable with an additional decal on the tailgate under the 4x4 decal that says "Offroad.

yea off road editions came with an additional 3" lift over the regular 4x4s, and has 4:10 gears in the axles. other than that its nothing really different. in order to fit you 35s without rubbing you may want to do a body lift, or maybe add-a-leafs in back and a spacer in the front springs. 5" lift is bout where u wanna be for 35s.

Great looking truck and Wildman gave you accurate info on the package contents. I have one, just a year older and longer than yours.

You cannot fit 35s with that setup. I concur 5" of lift is spot on for them. You can't do it with the wheels that came with it though, b/c of too much back spacing. Those 33s should already be scuffing the inner liner.

Thanks for the info dude, the guy we got it from was a mechanic and said there was more lift on it, but I think it could always use MORE! Once my sport season is over I plan on getting a job and doing a 5 inch lift as you said, then get 35's and possibly some spacers.

They are pretty worn down, that might be why they don't rub. And I agree I love the look of my truck, but bigger is better haha.
