Default exhaust.... quieter?

So here is the deal, I have searched and it seems all the post about exhaust, people want to make it louder. However, I currently have dual magnaflow exhaust on my 02 dodge ram 5.9 magnum. When I bought the truck it came with the exhaust. It sounds amazing, however, I feel bad waking up my neighbors every time i start it up.

I was wondering what people recommend for a quieter exhaust experience (mainly less cabin noise at highway speeds) but still get some performance?

Also, when welding it on you would have to weld all the way around the pipe correct? not just tack weld?

You can go cheap and get like Thrush Hush or something like that. You can cut the old one off and buy some adapters and muffler clamps, or weld it all the way around. If you dont seal it all the way around it will leak, so no tack welding.

I had a Gibson muffler installed on my Second Gen, giving it a nice, quiet rumble.

Get a SI/SO Magnaflow if you want a quiet exhaust.

I'm hoping... got a 3" SI/SO 5"x8"x24" Magnaflow muffler sitting on the floor.
This will be behind a Magnaflow 3" high flow Cat, and Pacesetter LT headers and Y-pipe.

I'm looking for a deeper note/rumble, without being LOUD... a little louder than stock is OK, but not LOUD.

PS, I don't have room for anything longer.
