hey guys i got my hands on a sm465 that came out of my brothers k5 blazer. my nv 3500 is junk so im thinking about trying to realy do this swap. I dont think i can because the main shaft the come out the front of each tranny is completly different from eachother. im just wondering if anyone knows anything about the sm 465 and if it is possible. i can weld and have a little money to throw at it also! i also got the np 241hd transfer case with the tranny too!

 

I think it's possible but might get kind of expensive. A simpler alternative would be a np435 which is very comparable to the sm465.

 

well i have the sm 465 already so im not gonna start looking for a diiferent tranny. without trying to make this one work first anyways
