Question Break In

I am going to install a 408 stroker and a RV cam kit in my 1996 ram 2500 5.9.So not having done a rebuild for a while, what oil do you all use for the Breakin period now days?

There are a few ways you can go with this.
1) There is an additive they make that adds the zinc to your regular oil.
2) There is oil you can still buy with zinc in it that is for older engines and can be gotten at Napa.

I am rebuilding my engine right now myself and have asked around so that is why I know about the oil.

i used comp cams break in oil when i rebuilt the top end of my 360. i got a case of 12 from summit for around 60ish bucks.
