It's never that way and you will always be like..."Hmmm, I need more torque!"
I use finger tight, couple short cranks of the ratchet, then when I feel it getting tight enough, I do 1/8 of a turn.

Torque spec for spark plugs is usually on/in the box somewhere.
Depending on the seat type (flat seat w/gasket, or tapered seat).


Hand tight +2/3 turn has always worked for me.

when i torqued the intake down when i changed the plenum, the first time iwas like "that does not feel like enough torque to hold an intake down" after it failed and i did it again i just did it by hand.

Been good ever since. Some things that are really sensitive you should def torque as close to spec as possible
