Default slipping 2-3 after adjusting bands several times

I have a 99 ram 5.2 auto. I replaced the solenoids and sensors. Fluid good. Adjusted the bands 5 times inthe past month. Some days it shifts fine. Other days it slips between 2nd and 3rd. Now that its cold it hesitates to go into third. I can leave second and rev and let rpms drop and rev again before bang 3rd. I have learned to pedal shift 2nd to third to reduce the bang of 3rd. To top it off I recently got rear ended by a civic. The car went under my bed hit my rear end and snappedmy drivers side leaf spring. After the fix im gitting a faint wine between 40 and fifty. Plz help

I doubt this matters but I have a cold air intake, msd 6a with a blaster coil, msd wires, and 3923 plugs. Recently replaced the iac and tps. In overdrive at lower rpms it feels like I shimmy till about 2000 rpms then it fades away. (I think I need a standard). I need something to tell the shop on monday instead of sounding like a moron. I dont want them to try to shrug this off like who cares its old. Insurance might pay for this!

Does it shift more smooth when you give it more gas from a stop as aposed to just easing into it or leaving a light at a normal pace, or is this a problem no matter the amount of pedal you give it?

You could try a TV cable adjustment, http://bionicdodge.com/Download/Dodg...Adjustment.pdf, but having issues after that many adjustments probably indicates a bigger problem, possibly even a rebuild.

How's the fluid looked when you dropped the pan?

When I step on it theres no problems in shifting. But easing it brings on the symptoms.the fluid smelled burnt and was dark red. I also had a lot of shavings onthe on the magnet. They were very finetho and I dont think anyone else ever droppedthe pan. I bought it with 72k and did the work at 80k. Amazingly the problems didnt start till about 80k. I have 81723 on it now. And how can this be made to look like a ccar accident did this. :-)

What if I remove the return spring on the t.v. Cable! You think that will be clever enough to warrant a new tranny? Or do you think someone will be clever enough to find that?

It's probably time for a rebuild.
