Default Lug centric wheel question

I have a set of steel aftermarket black rims to go on my truck as the stock aluminum ones are peeling, corroded, and leaking some air. Well I wanted them put on the day I had off and the only place with an opening was Wal-Mart... Well the black steelies are lug centric and they wouldn't install them without me signing a liability waiver and all sorts of B.S. They argued with me saying they wouldn't balance (they had no clue that an adapter is needed on the spin balancer to balance the lug centric style). So I have an appt today at a regular tire place that has no problem. Any one else have this issue? Are the stock rims hub or lug centric?

I will add that the hole in the wheel is bout 1" larger than the hub on the truck.

Lug centric, you can buy hub centric rings if you feel like it.

Regular tire shop had no problem with it. Truck drives fine, no balancing issues. The people of Tire Lube Express at Wal Mart...

That's the problem right there. They won't even mount tires on your car/truck if they are not the OE size.

Yeah found that out by wasting 45 min there. It was the first time I've ever tried them. Only because I had no patience and wanted it done right then haha. Good thing is Wal Mart put in new valve stems in the process, then didn't charge me a dime when they decided they wouldn't do the install.
