Default Leaf springs 1500 vs. 2500?

I was wondering if the stock leaf springs off a 2500 will bolt in place of the springs on my 1500, and how much will it lift the rear of my truck? I want to get rid of the 2in block that came with my lift, I don't like the idea of having 5inches of block (including factory 3in block) on the rear of my truck, plus I could get more flex with taller springs. Thanks

Am I reading correctly that you are going to put a block ontop of another block?

The ride will be a lot harsher with the 3/4 ton springs, as they are stiffer.

When you do a lift above stock. example you get a 3" lift the 3" block simply sits ontop. (interlocks) THis is normal for the block lift style kits. If you do Leaf Springs in some cases you leave the stock block. Hope this helps

The question is will the measurements on a 2500 spring and a 1500 spring be the same i know that the width will be 1/2" bigger on the 2500, which using a custom schackel you could do the swap, but i don't know the eye to eye measurement on the 1500 spring. the straight line eye to eye measurement on the 2500 1994-2001 is 58" does any one know the measurement on the 1500?
