I HAVE 285 75'S ON MINE WITH NO PROBLEMS.
I THINK A 305 WOULD RUB IN TIGHT TURNS. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMPENSATE ALOT WITH RIMS AND THE PROPER BACK SPACING IF YOU PLAN ON GOING THERE.

I have 285 60s r16 Goodyear Eagle GTII on mine and they rub a little on the inside, but are you wanting a street tire or mud tire?

Mud Terrains and Buckshots are gonna wear real quick if all you do is run your truck on the road. They're also gonna be louder than almost any other tire you could run. Just an FYI for ya.

i have an 01 ram 2wd.....i've got 33's (33.8 closer to a 34 i think) bfg all-terrains on 16x8" rims with very little rub....only when goin over bumps with just the right angle.....its definately not good for off-road use...but neither is a 2wd truck.....i just like the chunky tire look....heh

i think the tires prefer the term big boned.... chunky is kinda harsh dont ya think? politically incorrect i have no information on tire sizing on 2WD..
