Default Rim questions

I am looking at new rims for my 1999 dodge ram 1500 . Does anyone no if I can put 6x5.5 rims on my truck even though it has 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Idk . I just can't find 16 5x5.5 xd hoss rims for it . An does anyone no a site where I can order them from

No.. A 6x5.5 is a six lug wheel, you need a five lug if it's 5x5.5. The 5.5 Is the spacing

Ya. But they do not have the bolt pattern I need . The only size rims the got r 21 inch an I don't want that big. I'm stickin with 16 .but I looked on the internet an I have saw adapters for my truck to make it 6 lug an it just bolts on. Should I try buying that

Nope you have to run 5x5.5. Be patient and look on craigslist, ebay etc. Adapters and spacers are not a good idea and many shops wont touch your truck if you need an alignment, balance or rotate. I have a 97 5.9 and just put 04 17" wheels on and they look great. Just keep am eye out and know your size
