I just bought the MSD 6A Ignition Controller. Anyone know if I have to use the magnetic pickup? Also where'd you hook the red wire "From Ignition Key (Original Coil + Wire)"??? And if I don't use the the magnetic pickup, where do I hook up the white wire "From Points or Electronic Ignition Amplifier (Original Coil - Wire)"????

I've never installed one, but there's a how-to on Pavementsucks.com. Go to the homepage, then click on the "Tech" link...it'll be under there. I hope that helps.

 

Forget it. I'm retarded. I should have looked at the reference colors for the wires. It's a very easy install that I can actually remove at a later date.
