Oil level high on dipstick... help please
So I completed the plenum repair and reassembled. Changed the oil and replaced with correct amount, however now while the engine is running, the oil level is almost to the top of my dipstick. When the engine is off, it is normal. This was not the case prior to repairing the intake plenum. This leads me to believe that I'm having excessive crankcase pressure. The pcv valve is new. Any ideas what might also be causing this problem? Could there be an issue with the plenum plate cause the intake charge to vent into the valley?

Ive never heard of someone checking their gasoline motor oil level with the engine running before, this is new. This practice is mainly used with diesel farm equipment and semi trucks, I know because I do it myself with farm equipment. I think you're fine. If you did everything right and put it back together right, don't sweat it unless its acting up.
