Here is a list of tires I have ran on this truck, I don't pay too much attention to weight with these smaller tires.

Revo At, 285/75R16
Dick C Fun Country 2, 285/75R16
Cooper STT, 315/75R16
Goodyear M/T with K, 315/75R16
Fierce Attitude M/T, 315/75R16 current tire.

The Cooper was my fav, not to bad for wearing
The Fierce Attitude is a good allround tire and is wearing the best out of all the other tires so far.
The DC-FC2 was a Ok tire as well but loved to pick up smaller rocks and this chipped the paint BAD.
The Goodyears, aired down in deep snow they were unstoppable, high wear rate, deff more an off-road tire than a DD tire.
The Revo well what can I say a street tire only.

So have a look at the Fierce Attitude tire.

How do they do in snow and icy wet roads, do you know?

I do indeed know, first not many M/T tire's are good on ice other than the Duratrac or the Interco Trxus M/T . Water, standing water, slush, snow they do good to very good. I don't play in mud so I can't comment there. They will last me another summer for sure so three + years out of them. That's not to bad for the type of roads I travel, more than I expected and I must admit they work better than I thought they would.

Well most of my driving is on pavement (85%) on snowy roads (10%) and some heavy off road (5%). I get a lot of rain though, so the roads are frequently wet. I like the fierce Mt but now I'm starting to look at the Toyo AT II Xtreme... They seem to look great on paper. Anyone have these?

I'm running Dick Cepek FC II 285/75/16 on 16x8" Dick Cepek Torque rims (with a matching spare). This spare tire just barely fits under the truck where the spare tire goes. I definitely couldn't go any larger and fit the spare underneath.

If you're wanting to run a full-size spare underneath, you might want to consider this.

Yes of course, more weight and a larger rolling resistance I would imagine. D44 is not built for big tires lol.

Id go with the Fierce Tires over the Toyo simply for the fact the Fierce will do better in the snow and offroad. Side lugs. Fierce has good ones, Toyo doesnt really. Could also look at Toyo MT, heavier tire but great tread life and great traction. Never actually owned a set but I know several people who do and they praise them.

@Thornloe Pride- I actually HATED 4.10 and 35's. It lugs in over drive and revs way to high out of over drive. Truck felt so gutless with them on, really wouldnt regret gettin the 4.56's! Just my experience

I have only had them since November so it's hard to tell. I do know they still look brand new. But with a lift and 35 inch tires, you are garnered to have extra wear than stock.

It's hard to say because I've never ran 4:10s on my truck but I find with the 4.56s I rev too high in OD. With 3.55s and 35s doing 95km/h I would be around 1550rpm. Any slight incline and I would downshift. With the 4.56s, 35s doing 95kmh I'm at 2100ish. My truck sees a lot of highway, bit of weekend offroading and barely any towing. So for me, I believe the 4.10s would have been better. Would be around 1900rpm. However, I love the torque with the 4.56 :P
