Default Plastic ramps

IS anyone using plasic ramps to work on their trucks? I went out to get a set of ramps to do oil changes, and all I could find were ramps made from plastic. I've checked Autozone, Sears, Walmart, no metal ramps. Are the plastic ones safe to use?

They arent bad to use, but I wouldnt use them for a truck. If you want metal ramps, you are better off looking at PepBoys or Napa....

I have a set of metal ramps and its the only way I would have put my Dak up in the air. I have a 5000lb jack and I didnt even use it for the truck without a secondary jack.
