Default 2000 5.9 cummins starting problem after driven

Hey fellas my Dodge runs great dang near all the time. This starting problem has done it 3 times and seems to have gotten longer in down time each time. I drive to where I'm going shut it off go do my business less than 30 min. usually. I hit the key and it just turns over. I have had to sit for an hour at the longest and have disconnected the hot leads from batteries seemed to fix it one time. I turned the key off on 3 times and got a code of P 1693 in the odometer window, as well as P done. Any ideas before it leaves me in the boonies to walk??

OK I found the codes on here which means..turbocharge control circuit malfunction. What the heck does that mean?
