Hey guys,
Transmission just went out on my truck this past week. I put it up on the lift at work to see if I could find the model number. I've came across 3 different tags, all of which looked like serial numbers on each of them. Since I work for a Toyota dealership, I don't have access to a reference or breakdown sheet for the truck.
My truck is a 2001 Ram 1500, 2 Wheel drive shortbed, 1/2 ton, 5.2L 318, With an A/T-O/D trans.
I've did some research and narrowed it down to the 46RH/RE.
From what I've found anything pre 95 and manually controlled is the 46RH.
Anything after and electronically controlled is the 46RE.
Would this be correct?
