sounds like a plan. I think i remember 4 oz for the rear diff but not 100%. Ill swap out the O2 sensor and do the rear diff tomorrow. then ill post the outcome.

I have an offroad edition ram as well...they sell the friction modifier stuff in little tubes at advance or any other parts store. I think they are 4 oz tubes but I just put the whole thing in mine...I actually screwed up and ran mine for a little bit without the modifier but it wasn't long before I discovered that I needed the friction modifier when I was reading a thread on this forum. The catalog at freakin advance auto didn't say that any of the rams need it, but the ORE ones definitely do. Luckily for me, I dont think any damage was done to my rear end.

well i only went about 1/2 mile and didnt even hit 45 mph so Im hoping taking some 75/90 out and putting the tube in there. If it doesnt fix the real problem atleast itll fix the rearend. Im still thinking transmission when I did the filter.

I shouldnt complain seeing Ive had about 10- 2nd Gen. Dodge Ram's and 4- 1st Gen over the last 16 years with zero problems.

Check the accel cable on throttle body lever. About seven years ago I limped my truck to a transmission shop one time when all of sudden it would hardly go over 30 mph. Turned out I knocked the cable out of it's guide while dinkin around under the hood. Took the mechanic about 15 seconds to figure it out. Man I felt dumb. It happened another time after getting an oil change, don't ask me how.

Yeah I feel dumb. Guess one shouldnt rely on the its 4 quarts info AND check the fluid level and night. Yep she was more than a quart low. I did check everything else and I even pu the friction modifier in the rear axle.

So yes the dumb moment has happened.

Thanks all that posted. I have gotten some great info on this forum for quite a long time.
