Default LED tail light problem

So I made the decision to purchase these led taillights. http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=271388297556 Not sure if this was a very wise decision haha. My problem is I for the life of me can't get them to work. They claim to be plug and play. The lights themselves have one connector which I assume are to be plugged into one of the adapters for my tail light bulbs. I removed the bulb and connected the adapters. The other stock bulb Is just to inserted into a socket the same as the stock tail light. Ive tried plugging both ends Into the new led adapter but the built in leds refuse to light up. Is there something else I should do or check? Or have I just bought duds? I was leery about foreign after market parts. Read others have had luck though. Thanks in advance.

That link does not work. Have you tried turning the connector around? Does it only fit one way?

Default Led Tail Light

Just an FYI; Led lights require correct electrical polarity.
Not like a standard bulb where positive and negative can be swapped.
Also Leds are often color coded more like household wiring then automotive. In otherwords, Leds use Black for positive and White as negative ground. Maybe this will help with diagnosing.

My point exactly. Time to get out a multimeter and figure out your positive and negative. Chinese are not particularly concerned about making sure their junk is actually wired correctly for a specific vehicle. You could also take a jumper from the battery (be careful though) positive /negative and probe the light connector to make sure the lights are not duds.
