Default how do u adjust the throttle cable (accelerator)?

I can pull about an inch of slack thru the accelerator's tb clip, how do I take the slack out? I can't find anything on here about the accelerator cable, and nothing in the service manual. I found out how to remove and install from sevice man., but no adjustment.

I don't think there is an adjustment. I know some have used zip ties on the end of the cable to take up the space. Just put one next to the other around the cable until desired space is taken up.

First thing would be to have someone step on the gas (NOT RUNNING) while you look at the butterflies in the throttle body to see if they are opening all the way. If they are, just leave it. If not, you could do the "zip tie mod" above until they do open.

Never adjusted one on these motors but usually the adjustment is at the throttle body. Another way ive seen is zip ties at the gas pedal to take up the slack.
