99 stock radio help

Default 99 stock radio help

Hey yall
I have the top radio in the pic .. it doesn't say infinity on it but I do have the A pillar speakers
Anyone know for sure if it's not an infinity system ?
I want to replace the head unit but not the speakers

Well the description in the picture does say it's Alpine. It'll be fine to put in the head unit. I've got a Boss unit in mine and it sounds extremely good with the stock speakers. What year is your truck?

It's a 99 2500 4x4 360 gas burner
Do u have the factory tweeters in the A pillar also ?
I was told that speakers in A pillar means it an infinity system with the amps on each speaker so a head unit change means ever speaker gets changed also
All I want is a back up cam

Yep, it's an Infinity. And you're right you'll have to replace all the speakers if you replace the head unit. I think not only will the speakers need to be replaced, but the wiring as well. I've replaced my speakers with rebuilt one I found on Ebay and I'm a happy cowboy!!
