Oh ya, dual stabilizers.
Now why would you do that if you have absolutely no issue with your truck?
Because he thought they looked cool and had a spare $100 laying around.

Since i have a commercial account at O'riellys i stopped today and was talking to the guy there and he said he would warranty the monroe stabilizer for life so i am gonna try one and see what happens ? $29 compared to $50-60 is a good deal right now !

Cant go wrong for $30.

IMO you shouldnt need a stab though, if you do you have front end problems that need addressing and thats just fact.

edit: Bbartow, I would do that if I had an extra $100 for nothing. Lol. Looks good, absolutely usesless. Lol.

Exactly why factory trucks come with them.
Factory new vehicles have issues or they put them on for looks.
Lol.
Wow.

If you're trying to be a dick, it won't get you far. I couldn't put my junky stock stabilizer back on because it was completely rusted through. So I ran without one for awhile until I went ahead and got the dual setup.

Never had a problem without one and the only difference I see with the duals is that it jars a lot less.

As soon as i get the money for the steering parts i will buy them ! If i order a aftermarket steering stabilizer it might have a 1 yr warranty and then if it goes bad i have to send it back and wait ?

You're the only one here who seems to think they do something.

BTW, as said, being a dick here doesnt get you anywhere. If you want to have a nice civil convo feel free. Otherwise please move on.

edit: OP you would have to see what the place you're gonna order from does that. I would assume thats how its done though.

the stabilizer is just to soften the tire jerk when you hit a pot hole my stabilizer is still original no power left in it now its just there and bent you do not need a stabilizer.

as stated by others it is not a solution. there is something loose in your steering if there is a wobble most of the time it is the steering box.

the use of a steering stabilizer is to minimize the jerk of the tires when you hit a pot hole. the bigger the tires the more of the jerk is noticeable.

please read up on facts before commenting if you don't like being told your wrong.

Lmao. Sure thing.
But not every issue is caused by something being wrong.
Sometimes it just is what it is. If you can rebuild everything and still have a problem and something can help then its not useless as you guys have said.
Point is Steering stabilizers are used for a reason. Not a bandaid.
They are part of a complete system.
You guys can argue that all you want and call me stupid and uninformed. I do not really care.
The way you fellows argue their invalid and that its a cover up for other problems is completely wrong.
You know this as you yourselves have given reasons why they are used.
Yes, they cushion steering jolt. If not in place the jolt can become uncontrollable to the point of a very bad wobble at highway speeds.
Like a shock on the suspension. Hit a bump without one.
