major problems
ill try to make this short bc its a long story. I have a 99 dodge ram sport with a 2001 base model dodge ram 5.9engine and tranny with the 2001 engine harness on it. with the 2001 computer i get the ldp code and my abs light comes on. with my 99 computer i get codes for the 02 sensors and the tranny temp light to come on. i need advice as to which way to go with this before i spend anymore cash on it. A few friends keeps telling to to go with the 01 computer but i have no idea where the ldp is on the 01 and my 99 sprt never had one i believe. pls help.

Down load the 2001 FSM and got to page 25-33 which is the section for your leak detection pump and it will tell you where it is. If it isn't in the same spot as a 2001 then try one of the older manuals and see where they mount it.
