Default any 2nd Gen 1500's running newer Ram 17" wheels?

curious how this looks and performs for you?

My '99 has aftermarket 16" wheels that make the tire stick out more and I'm not really crazy about the look overall on this stock suspension w/ leveling kit.

I've been tossing around the idea of going to a 17" wheel and eventually bigger tires. I would stick with the same size 285/70, but only in a 17" diameter instead of 16". After it's lifted some, I'm planning to run 33's.

those are the exact size tires I have...the 00-01 ORE rams came with 17" alloy wheels that are nearly identical to some of the rims that came on the 3rd gen rams. I like them alot myself...check out my sig pic

Diesel coils which roughly equal a 2.5in level kit

Only thing you have to do is get different lug nuts. Third gen went to a larger wheel stud and the sec gen lug nuts are too small to mount the wheel and hub cap

2010 OEM 17" rims. The truck came with 20's but i swapped them for these...they look a little better. Still allows me to have a stock ride height
