Default Rear Sway Bar

When did dodge start putting a sway bar on the rear of its trucks ?.
Has anyone added one to there truck and notice a difference in handling ?.

i picked up a late year 94 2500 that has a rear sway bar, looks to be factory but cant be 100% on that, the 02 also has one, and with a little lift and 37's, the woman takes that damn thing around corners like its a 1,000 lb. race car, and it sticks! if you run the cruves alot or top heavy loads, i think they are definatly worth having, but at the same time its also kind of a down grade if you are off road much

I got Dana 60s off a 02 and it didn't have a rear sway bar

It seems kindve random what did and what didn't

I have one on my 95, I think it was an aftermarket deal back then. I thought around 2000 they started putting them on from factory, only if you had a certain package though. But like previously stated it sure does help with a load in the bed. I feel pretty stable with a heavy load of hay back there.
