i have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9 lt v8 magnum, it just stopped running on me today going down the road not getting fuel. i sprayed starting fluid into the carb it fired right up. I'm hoping its an easy fix like fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator and not the computer any ideas will be great.
thanks

Gotta ask: Does it have fuel in it?

has it been converted to carb? or did you just mean throttle body

if its still stock and mutli port sequential injection. aka efi. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and see what it tells you.

if you get in the truck and put key to ignition on, without starting. do you hear the fuel pump prime?
