Default Transmission fluid

Quick question: ATF +4 can be used in our 46re's correct or do I stick with ATF +3? I'm changing trans fluid and was wondering on this question, thanks guys

I had the same question. The guys at Royal Purple said That+4 replaced +3. Anything that was using +3 should be upgraded to +4. This is according to Royal Purple.
