If you decide to drop the tank which is ridiculously easy be sure and pump that FULL Tank of gas out-If you cant pump/siphon the gas out then pull the bed in your case-since it is full of Gas-

You can disconnect the fuel line in the engine bay and put a hose on it, then remove your fuel relay and stick a wire in where the fuel relay went, it will pump your gas out for you, just have some 5 gallon containers handy.
