Default Need Teflon tape on the coolant temp sensor?

Title says it all. Got my new sensors in the mail today and I was just wondering if I would need to wrap some Teflon tape around the coolant temp sensor before installing it.

Searched around and it's not specifically mentioned anywhere, but man it just seems like it'd be necessary.

Thoughts?

No, use a sensor safe sealant. There has to be a "ground" for an electrical connection and Teflon tape will interfere with that.
