Just thought I would update. I've driven the truck on and off for most of the winter. The disc brakes in the back make a huge difference. Easily worth the time and money. Readdressing the Dana 60, aside from cost and availability, I simply don't need a rear end that is that heavy duty. I don't pull or haul anything big and heavy enough to need such a robust rear end.
This summer, hopefully, I will be making another braking upgrade. Hydrobooster, and the larger front brakes.
