Mine started doing this a few weeks after owning it and when I looked for places that had the mount in Canada, the listed price was around $80 and I couldn't justify that for a block of rubber lol.

Ham Bone, in that video how was your acceleration? Smash? Dainty?

You have the factory blocks and the 3" springs right?

After seeing the video, I would say that's not normal. My 2000 dodge ram does not do this at all, so I would guess that the transmission mount is bad.
At least the mount isn`t expensive, and a couple of hours labor and its fixed.

In between smash and dainty. It's not granny footing it but it wasn't flat out. Maybe a little more smash then just normal casual accleration.

Yes factory blocks and 3in springs.

You mean a couple minutes? Ham Bone, try bench pressing the tranny / tcase, or pushing up on it with your feet hard. If you can lift the transfer case and tranny off the mount then the rubber has become disbonded from the metal. My tcase shifter used to pop up something awful under load / hard launches.

Link to the mount as for whatever reason your mobile link did not get auto-hyper'ed

I don't think that would the cause of the shaking, but it certainly won't hurt. You happen to check all the bolts to it for tightness? You did swap the tcase, which would have needed you to loosen up at least.

What is the amount of shaking we talking about anyways? Video it dude!

You can get the same transmission mount linked above at rock auto for
$10.01 plus shipping.

This is what I am talking about. You just articulate it better than I did.

Rock auto is great but they get you on the shipping a lot. I tend to just buy bulk stuff from them.

Summit gave me free two day shipping! Whoop

The shifter is mounted to the body. The linkage is connects to the shifter and then tranny tab. That is how on the 00 at least and presumably on the 01. Different on other years...?

Here's the shifter on my 95. Seems like a better design to me to have it mounted to the transmission.

You are soooo cool snowbound! Good of you to clarify what you going on there.

HB -- I think you might be seeing a little axle wrap action.

Axle wrap really? My leaf springs are still plenty stiff and heavy duty.

Well ill put the mount in then see if that changes it any. Maybe its a combination of both.
