Default need some help...

On my 2001 dodge I have always used Aromour All Wheel cleaner to clean my wheels. I have used them on my wheels for little over a year now. I have noticed lately that the luster seems to be fading from the wheels and they seem to look dry and whitish...sorta like the clearcoat is fading. Anyways does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to get the luster back on my wheels. A man at Autozone told me to use mothers polish and that I would have to spend about and hour on each wheel. Is he right or full of S@#T? Here is a pic of my truck so yall can see what wheels I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Tyler

btw...what would be the best way to lower the back end to level out the truck? Shackles? or something else? I would like to lower without sacrificing the ride or making it ride rougher. -Tyler

How long do you leave the wheel cleaner on before you rinse it off? Most wheel cleaners contain acid. Some are HIGHLY acidic. So leaving it on there for longer than minute is not good. When I spray it on, it's usually only on there as long as it takes me to brush it around.

As far as restoring them, mothers polish will work. Black Magic also has some nice wheel polish. This will also help a lot: http://www.autogeek.net/mo5140.html I love mine

Not sure how you could lower the rear unless you went with some new springs made for that purpose, you could get a leveling kit but that raises the front height to match the back and I am not sure how good they are but lots of people use them.

use a water based tire shiner.. won't make your rims look dull and makes your tires look wet all the time

I woudl get the mothers polish and the power ball for your drill. it really cuts down the time and makes them look great. its about $25.00 as for lowering the rear. how much lower do you want it. I think there is a 2in block in there right or know. if there is just get rid of it.
