The ethanol they put in the gas really lowers the quality of the gas, and really effects the gas mileage and performance of our trucks.
your right ethanol sucks, it's junk to these engines. with 91 up here, no ethanol.

I think ethanol is going away in the U.S. Several places around here where I can get 100% pure gasoline.

A station in town has ethanol mixed gas, I saw him once changing out the ethanol, it comes in oil filter like jugs, screw in just like an oil filter too, anyway, he said he doesn't have to use ethanol but it cost $2000 to upgrade his pumps to ethanol when it was required and he's afraid if he goes back to non-ethanol the government will change its mind and he'll have to go back to ethanol....

there are 3 Shell stations near me I always try to hit because they have 91 with 3% ethenol. the Conoco has 91 with 10% ethenol I think the Kum-n-Go and 7/11 has 11%. There is one station that has pure Gasoline but it's 4.85 for regular...

I always liked Shell they had 101 everywhere back in Ohio... that was nice for my motocycle and old turbo cars.

So ontop of the pingning being gone, with the addition of the coil and wires start up has become extreamly quick and my idle is smooooth. I mean, it was really smooth before and started like a charm with no issues what so ever but I was sitting at a light today and it felt like the truck wasnt even running. haha

I just picked up an MSD coil, new plugs, and wires. The MSD coil is higher output than the stock coil, so I plan to open the plug gap up to .45 to see what if any improvements I see. I read in several places online that I will see a nice improvement in performance.
We will see about that.
