Default New Coil Springs

I recently bought a replacement set of coil springs (part #CC1710) and I cannot decide if I should take this task on myself and only pay for the alignment or have the local shop do it all. I don't have any air tools or even a full mechanics tool set but I have experience working on the truck from general maintenance to the plenum fix to custom fabrications. I do have jack, jackstands, and a 56 piece universal set along with some deep sockets that are floating around. So what are y'alls recommendations on what I should do?

it will be a task for sure. your not going to be able to do anything without jack stands and lots of patience. do not reuse the cotter pins.

As long as you can jack up the frame enough for the axle to droop and unseat the springs you should be fine. Don't remember there being any cotter pins though...

the passenger side will drop further if you disconect the tie rod and trac bar. dont need to do it..but it makes it allot easier to do with one person. tie rod and trac bar both have cotter pins

Where did you place the jack stands on the frame at? I would think on the front of the frame rails but my jack stands don't reach that high.
